IN CLOSING |
One of our members and former Huntington Rose Garden volunteer, Eric DePrano, has been hired as an Associate Curator of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden. Eric will be making a major shift, moving from Los Angeles to New York, to take on his new duties at NYBG at the end of March. I know it’s a big change for Eric, but I am confident he will make an outstanding curator. I hope our east coast members will look him up and welcome him, once he is settled into his new duties.
Jef and I thank all of you who have taken the time to write us with your comments and encouragement over the changes slowly taking shape with the eJournal. We continue to solicit your input and encourage you to email us with news and schedules of upcoming events in your area. The world of roses continues to bring us together, wherever we are. No matter what our beliefs or where we live, we all share in our devotion to and love of roses! Until next time, we wish you and your roses good health!
